anyone that knows me in 'real life' probably knows what a difficult time the past three months have been for me + my little family. it has been so incredibly chaotic + stressful, but not without glimmers of hope + happiness along the way. one of the most uplifting moments was to see the one thousand wishes shop become a reality, the orders come flooding in much faster than i ever would have expected and the support of all the wonderful people who contributed items or helped to spread the word. i was so excited and overwhelmed with appreciation when i was drawing names for the giveaways, that i decided to draw an extra name from each category. each runner-up will receive a surprise in the mail...

i also wanted to let everyone know about the paper cranes...i am happily, but slowly, folding away...and although i'd love to get them all sent out right away, life seems to have an unnerving way of slowing me down lately. so. i am going to be gentle with myself and send them over the next month or so. there are also some other bits + pieces i've been hoping to get packaged up + sent off, so i'll be tackling those over the coming weeks, too. i hope this is okay...they will get there, eventually, i promise! thank you so much for being patient with me! x
